Abstract:
Objective: To discuss the correlation between platelet parameters on acute hypersensitive purpura and kidney damage in children.
Methods: Blood corpuscle analyser was used to test the blood platelet count(BPC),mean platelet volume(MPV),plateletcrit(PCT) and platelet distribution width(PDW) of 51 children suffering from hypersensitive purpura.
Results: The values of PLT and MPV were obviously higher in the group with kidney damage than those in the group without kidney damage BPC during the acute period(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: Platelet is involved in the process of kidney lesion induced by hypersensitive purpura,so conjoint treatment with anti-platelet and anti coagulation may prevent or alleviate kidney lesion.
