Abstract:
Objective: To review the perioperative management for tetralogy of fallot(TOF).
Methods: Seventeen patients with tetralogy of fallot received surgical treatments,and the clinical data,preoperative heart function and surgical results were reviewed and analysed.
Results: There was no early or late death,and no myocardical infarction.The follow-up ranged from 3 months to half a year.No residual leakage or obstruction of right ventricle outflow tract occurred.
Conclusions: Proper selection of indications,early detection and appropriate management of postoperative complication are essential to the surgical outcome.
