Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the value of blood and urine β
2-microglobulin (β
2-MG) in the early stage of hypertensive renal damage.
Methods: The blood and urine β
2-MG, as well as the serum creatinine (sCr) of 101 hypertension patients were detected by radioimmunity and enzymic method respectively. The creatinine clearance was calculated by CoCK-Croft-Gualt and the results were compared between the groups.
Results: The Ccr of group B and C was obviously lower than that of group A (
P<0.01), but the urine β
2-MG of the two groups was obviously higher than that of group A (
P<0.05-
P<0.01);Blood β
2-MG of the control group was significantly lower than that of group A, B and C (
P<0.01) and its urine β
2-MG was lower than that of group B and C significantly (
P<0.01).
Conclusions: It is of great diagnostic and prevent significance to detect the blood and urine β
2-MG in patients with early renal damage caused by hypertension.
