科研案例融合混合式教学方法在天然药物化学教学中的应用

    Application of the blended teaching method with research cases in teaching Natural Medicinal Chemistry

      目的: 探索科研案例融合混合式教学方法在天然药物化学教学中的应用。
      方法: 选择蚌埠医科大学药学院2018级和2019级251名学生作为研究对象。研究对象分为两组:其中2018级(对照组)采用传统教学方法,2019级(观察组)采用科研案例融合混合式教学方法,对两组学生考试成绩以及科研素养进行统计分析。
      结果: 学生成绩进行比较显示,2组学生不同分数段占比比较差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。其中对照组学生平均分为(71.41 ± 8.93)分,观察组学生平均分为(87.48 ± 4.17)分,2组比较差异有统计学意义(t = 2.82,P < 0.05)。学生科研素养成果分析显示,观察组学生在校期间参加科研素养比赛的获奖数量为98项,对照组学生获奖数量为64项。
      结论: 科研案例融合混合式教学方法在天然药物化学教学中的应用可以激发学生的学习兴趣和专业认同感,提高学生的自主学习能力。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective To explore how to apply the blended teaching method with research cases in teaching Natural Medicinal Chemistry.
      Methods The research participants consisted of 251 students from the School of Pharmacy, Bengbu Medical University, enrolled in the years 2018 and 2019. They were divided into two groups: the controlled group, students from 2018, were taught by the traditional method, whereas the observed group, made up of students from 2019, were instructed by the blended method with research cases. Then the test scores and scientific research literacy of the two groups were statistically analyzed.
      Results Comparing their scores, it indicated that there was a statistically significant difference in the proportion of various fractional scores between the two groups (P < 0.05). The average scores of the control group and observation group were (71.41 ± 8.93 ) points and ( 87.48 ± 4.17) points respectively. The differences of the two groups were also proved to be statistically significant (t = 2.82, P < 0.05). Regarding scientific research literacy, students in the observation group secured 98 awards in the scientific literacy competition, while the control group received 64 awards.
      Conclusion The integration of research cases into a blended teaching method can stimulate students' learning interest and foster their professional identity, as well as improve their autonomous learning ability.
