Abstract:
Objective: To evaluate the preliminary clinical result of endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA) and to explore its procedure,indication and complications.
Methods: One elderly patient complicated with many other diseases was performed endovascular repair under general anesthesia and dynamic monitor of digital subtraction angiography.
Results: Computer tomography showed that the stent-graft was patent.No migration,torsion or endoleak was found.The primary AAA sac was full of thrombi.The abdominal pulsatile mass disappeared.
Conclusions: Endovascular repair for treatment of AAA is a new procedure.It is safe and effective with the advantages of minor injury,and quick recovery.It should be applied according to the patient's condition.
