Abstract:
Objective: To explore the value of CT scan and CT galactography in diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.
Methods: Fifty cases of breast disease confirmed by pathology were performed CT scan and 34 of them received CT galactography.
Results: The diagnosis rate of CT scan was 94.1% for malignant breast tumors and 97.0% for benign breast tumors,while the diagnosis rate of physical examination was 60.6% for benign breast tumors.Of the 34 cases receiving CT galactography,the diagnosis rates were (58.8%) and 97.1% before and after CT galactography.
Conclusions: Breast CT scan and galactography are of great value in determining the position and nature of the breast disease,especially in differentiating benign or malignant tumors.
