Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the clinical feature of nosocomial infections in general hospital.
Methods: A total of 42 288 cases of inpatients in past four years were retrospectively studied.
Results: Of them 2 058 cases were infected, the incidence was 4.87%.The lower respiratory tract ranked the first place(33.47%) and the highest infected rate was in ICU(39.45%).Total 485 isolates of bacteria were found,of which Gram-negative ones accounted for 42.89%,Gram-positives 25.98%,fungi were for 31.13%.
Conclusions: The conditional bacteria show an increasing trend in the nosocomial infections.Strengthening the nosocomial infection management, treating underlying disease actively, lessing invasive process, supervising towards bacteria, and using antibacterial drug rationally are effective methods to reducing the rate of nosocomial infections.
