Abstract: Objective: To assess the efficacy and safety of demostic product levobupivacaine for hysterectomy under combined spinal-epidural anesthesia (CSEA).Methods: One hundred patients ASA gradeⅠorⅡundergoing elective hysterectomy under CSEA were randomly divided into 2 groups (n=50 each):levobupivacaine and ropivacaine.Each group was received intrathecal 0.75% levobupivacaine or ropivacaine injection 2 ml.The onset time and duration of sensory and motor block,the block height,degree of abdominal muscle relaxation,anesthetic efficacy and side effects were recorded.Results: There was no significant difference in the onset time,duration and degree of sensory and motor block among the 2 groups (P>0.05).There was no significant difference including mean arterial blood pressure and the degree of abdominal muscle relaxation and anesthetic efficacy and side effects.While vital signs of heart rate and arterial oxygen saturation had significant differences after anesthesia (P<0.01).Conclusions: The demostic product levobupivacaine for hysterectomy has satisfactory anesthetic effects compared with ropivacaine under CSEA and has no significant side effects.
