Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of the colposcopy-guided biopsy for cervical lesion.
Methods: Two thousand two hundred and fifteen outpatients with cervical lesion accepted the surgery of colposcopy-guided biopsy for pathological examination.
Results: There were 74 cases with cervical cancer,320 cases with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN),including 176 case of CIN1, 68 case of CIN2 and 76 case of CIN3,and 1 821 cases with chronic cervicitis (including cervical polyps). The rate of correct diagnosis is 96.93% for cervical lesion and 98.65% for cervical cancer, respectively.
Conclusions: The colposcopy-guided cervical biopsy had important value for early diagnosis of cervical lesion, especially cervical cancer and could improve the detection rate and diagnostic accuracy of CIN2,CIN3 and early stage cervical cancer.
