Abstract:
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of small craniotomy in the treatment of hypertensive cerebellar hemorrhage.
Methods: Twelve patients with hypertensive cerebellar hemorrhage were treated with small craniotomy.The operation time,removing hematoma and treatment effects of all cases were observed.
Results: The operation time was 1.5 hour.The hematomas were completely and partly removed in 8 cases and 4 cases.All patients were followed up for 3 months,11 cases survived.Good recovery in 7 cases,slight disability in 3 cases and severe disability in 1 case were found according to the Glasgow prognosis score.
Conclusions: The small craniotomy is short operation time,small trauma,little bleeding,and good efficacy,which is a suitable treatment means for hypertensive cerebellar hemorrhage.
