Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the anxiety and depression status in spouses of patients with breast cancer,and analyze the related factors.
Methods:The self-designed questionnaire including self-rating anxiety scale (SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS),and sociology of population data was used to investigate 110 spouses of breast cancer patients.
Results:The incidence of anxiety and depression in patients with breast cancer was 43.36% and 40.9.1% respectively.There was a significant difference comparing with the norm of china (
P<0.01).The related factors included age,educational level,pay forms,the monthly income of family and tumor stages and so on.
Conclusions:The anxiety and depression incidence in spouse of patients with breast cancer is relatively higher.Psychological intervention to spouse should be strengthened in the perioperative period of patients with breast cancer.
