Abstract:
Objective: To explore the relation between the nucleic acid content of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and HBV markers, liver injury.
Methods: One hundred and twenty-six patients suffering from hepatitis B received HBV DNA analysis. Fluorescence ration PCR analysis was performed for HBV DNA quantifying assessment. HBV markers were detected by ELISA.
Results: Serum HBeAg was related to HBV DNA (
P<0.01). The highest HBV DNA levels were presented in sera positive for both HBsAg and HbeAg (
P<0.05). Serum alanine amjnotransferase level and HBV DNA content were correlated.
Conclusions: The quantity of HBV DNA is related to HbeAg. Liver injury stage is related to serum HBV DNA content.
