Abstract:
Objective:To detect the serum vitamin D level in patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL),and its clinical significance.
Methods:Fifty-one newly diagnosed PTCL patients and 20 healthy people were divided into the newly diagnosed group and control group, respectively. The serum expression levels of 25-hydroxy vitamin D25(OH)D in two groups was determined by chemiluminescence method.
Results:The level of 25(OH)D in newly diagnosed group(20.110 ng/mL) was lower than that in control group(48.812)ng/mL(
P<0.01).The serum level of 25(OH)D in newly diagnosed group was positive correlation with the therapeutic efficacy(
P<0.05),and negative correlation with the clinical stage and IPI score(
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The level of 25(OH)D is useful in estimating the therapeutic efficacy and prognosis in patient with PTCL.
