Abstract:
Objective: To explore effect of the modified bladder neck reconstruction on controling urinations the radical prostatectomy.
Methods: The radical retropubic prostatectomy was performed on a total of 30 cases of prostate cancer.The membranous part of sphincter urethrate was preserved and the neurovascular bundle folding stitch to rebuild the bladder neck.
Results: All patients were followed-up for 3-40 months,28 patients had normal voiding,one with mild stress incontinence,one was urgent urinary incontinence.
Conclusions: The incontinence after radical retropubic prostatectomy could be redaced by the method of preserving the membranous part of sphincter urethrae and preserving the neurovascular bundle lateral to the prostate in operation.It could also be avoided by evaginate the posterior wall of the baldder adegaately and made an additional folding stitch to the bladder neck,
