Abstract:
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of naloxone in the treatments of neonatal hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).
Methods: Combination therapy of naloxone and routine treatment was applied to 32 newborn with HIE and 20 other newborn with HIE receiving only routine treatment as control.
Results: The time for disappearance of clinical symptoms and recovery was shorter in the treatment group than in the control group(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The therapeutic effect of naloxone in the treatment of HIE is apparently better than that of routine therapy.
