Abstract:
Objective: To explore the effects of sodium hyaluronate combined with solifenacin on cystitis caused by chemical drugs.
Methods: Forty-four patients with chemical cystitis caused by chemical drugs after operation of bladder cancer were divided into the control group and treatment group which were treated with solifenacin and sodium hyaluronate combined with solifenacin, respectively. The clinical efficacy and safety in all patients were evaluated in 4 weeks after treatment.
Results: Compared with before treatment, the mean number of micturition, urgency episode, urge incontinence and vesical pain per day in two groups were significantly improved after treatment(
P<0.01),the improvement in the number of micturition and vesical pain of the treatment group were better than that of the control group(
P<0.01),the differences of the number of urgency episode and urge incontinence between two groups were not statistically significant(
P>0.05).The mean urine output in treatment group improved significantly after treatment(
P<0.01),but it was not statistically significant in control group(
P>0.05).
Conclusions: The treatment of sodium hyaluronate combined with solifenacin can obviously alleviate the bladder irritative symptom, increase bladder capacity, alleviate the suffering of the patients with chemical cystitis, the effect of which is better than that of solifenacin.
