Abstract:
Objective: To explore the correlation between hepatitis B virus(HBV)-DNA load and routine serum markers in patients with HBV infection.
Methods: The serum HBV-DNA,hepatitis B virus surface antigen(HBsAg),hepatitis B virus e antigen(HBeAg) and alanine aminotransferase(ALT) in 214 patients with HBV infection were detected using TaqMan real time polymerase chain reaction, chemiluminescence and rate assay. The relationship between the markers were analyzed.
Results: Among the 214 patients, the positive rates of HBV-DNA and HBeAg were 57.48% and 28.04%,respectively.The HBV-DNA load was not related to HBsAg and ALT(
P>0.05),and was closely related to the HBeAg level(
P<0.01).The levels of HBeAg and ALT in positive HBV-DNA group were significantly higher than those in negative HBV-DNA group(
P<0.01).
Conclusions: The HBV-DNA load is positive correlation with the HBeAg level, and is not correlation with HBsAg and ALT.The HBsAg level standing for HBsAg still nends be further validated
