Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the surgical procedures for treatment of ectopic pregnancy. Methods:Two hundred thirty nine cases of ectopic pregnancy were randomly divided into laparotomy group (107 cases) and laparoscopic surgery group (132 cases).Eighty-eight cases in the laparoscopic surgery group received laparoscopic salpingectomy,31 cases laparoscopic tubal incision surgery to take out the embryos from the oviduct and were injected MTX after the operation,9 cases underwent laparoscopic exploration plus curettage, and 4 cases resorted to laparotomy. Results:The operation time for laparoscopic surgery was much less than that for laparotomy (
P<0.01),and the incidence of absorption fever or abdominal distension was less in the laparoscopic group, and the hospital stay after surgery was shorter in the laparoscopic group (
P<0.01).Conclusions:Laparoscopic surgery has the advantages of minimal invasion and rapid recovery, which promises to be the main surgical method for treatment of ectopic pregnancy in the future.
