Abstract:
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of ganciclovir on neonatal congenital cylomegalovirus(CMV) infection.
Methods: Fifty-three patients with neonatal congenital CMV infection were randomly divided into the virazole group(26 cases) and the ganciclovir group(27 cases),and the clinical manifestations and therapeutic effects were compared.
Results: There were significant differences in the clinical manifestation, laboratory examination and virology test result between the virazole group and the ganciclovir group after treatment(
P<0.05).
Conclusions: Ganciclovir has obvious effects on neonatal congenital CMV infection with littler side effect,so it is worth widespreading in clinical practice.
