Abstract:
Objective: To sum up the experience of treating hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage by transinsular microsurgery.
Methods: The clinical data of 54 cases of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage treated by microsurgery in our department from 2001 to 2004 were reviewed.
Results: The patients were evaluated by activities of daily living(ADL) after the operation.ADL Ⅰ was found in 13 cases,ADL Ⅱ in 20 cases,ADL Ⅲ in 10 cases,ADL Ⅳ in 5 cases and ADL Ⅴin 1 case.Five cases died.
Conclusions: Application of transinsular microsurgery at the early stage of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage and relevant therapy after the operation can greatly improve the survival quality of the patients.
