Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the effect of hepatectomy in management of hepatolithiasis.
Methods: The clinical data of 65 cases of hepatolithiasis having received hepatectomy were analyzed of the operation indication,time selection,surgical approaches,complications and the preventive measures.
Results: No one died in the operation.Wound infection occurred in 2 cases,incision fat liquefaction in 2 cases,biliary fistula in 2 cases and stone recurrence in 2 cases.
Conclusions: Hepatic lobectomy is an effective procedure for treatment of hepatolithiasis with a low rate of reliquus concrement,recidivism and complication.
