Abstract: Objective:To summarize the experience in treating patients with paraquat poisoning. Methods:Twenty-one patients with paraquat poisoning were treated by comprehensive medical therapy(gastric lavage,catharsis,blood purification,medication and so on). Results:Five patients died,three left hospital without notice and thirteen recovered. Conclusions:The key to successful rescue include early gastric lavage,catharsis and blood purification.
