Abstract:
Objective:To identify the morphous feature of calcarine sulcus (CS) on sagittal MRI planes and to provide reference for identifying CS on transverse MRI planes.
Methods:The data of 30 healthy adult sagittal-sectional MRI was imported into efilm workstation in the form of Dicom 3.0.Typical morphous, continuous tracing and 3D-Cursor were employed for the identification, and the posterior segments of CS on median planes of 60 corpse brains were classified for comparison.
Results:The morphous and localization of the CS were stable;the CS on lateral median saggital planes could be classified as comma,unimodal,double-hump and three-hump.
Conclusions:The CS can be identified accurately by typical morphous, continuous tracing and 3D-Cursor,which will help to identify CS on transverse MRI planes.
