Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the incubation nursing to senile patients during the recovery period after general anesthesia.
Methods:Eighty senile patients were randomly divided into control-group and survey-group,40 cases of each group.Patients in control-group were routinely cared, meanwhile, temperature intervention nursing were practiced to patients in survey-group by applying incubation tapetum, inputting warming liquid, humidificating DAR air-duct warmly etc.The prenarcotic temperature, initial temperature into post-anesthesia care unit (PACU),rewarming and detention time in PACU were monitored and the complications such as revival time delayed, dysarteriotony, shakes, restlessness were also monitored.
Results:There were no statistical significance of prenarcotic temperature and initial temperature into PACU of two groups (
P>0.05).However,there were remarkably statistical significance of the difference of rewarming time, detention time and kinds of complications (
P<0.01).
Conclusions:Intensifying temperature intervention nursing on senile patients during anesthesia recovery period can shorten detention time in PACU and reduce the correlated complications from hypothermia.
