Abstract:
Objective: To explore the clinical significance of hemorrheology index and blood lipid analysis in patients with cerebral infarction.
Methods: The whole blood (high or low shear) viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit (HCT), total cholesterot (T-CH) and triglyceride (TG) were determined in patients with cerebral infarction and the controls.
Results: The whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, HCT, T-CH and TG of the two groups had significant difference (
P<0.01), especially the whole blood viscosity and TG.
Conclusions: The hemorrheology index and blood lipid analysis in the the early stage have great clinical value for the diagnosis and prevention of cerebral infarction.
