Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the clinical application of plasmakinetic tissue management system (PK) in vaginal hysterectomy.
Methods:The PK was used in vaginal hysterectomy in 98 patients (PK group) in our hospital.Another 78 patients which undergone the same operation with the traditional technique were belonged to traditional group. The minimally invasive effect was explored between these two groups.
Results:In the PK group, the operation time was (38.59±8.87) min,the intraoperative blood loss was (40.12±17.19) ml;the postoperative pyrexia was 6 cases (5.81%) and granulation generation at the vaginal stump was 1 case (1.02%),which were significantly less than those in the traditional group (70.30±12.50) min, (123.50±38.12) ml,12 cases (14.81%) and 10 cases (12.80%) respectively (
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).The recovery of bowel movement was (18.05±5.65) h,the mean postoperative hospitalization was (5.72±1.42) d,which were shorten than those in the traditional group (22.45±7.43) h and (6.36±0.71) d,respectively (
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The PK simplified the procedure in vaginal hysterectomy, and it is a safe, effective and minimally invasive operation. It plays a great role to promote the vaginal gynecologic surgery in clinic.
