Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the effect of postoperative lymphatic fluid leakage after the axillary lymph nodes dissection by liposuction.
Methods:Eighty-six breast cancer patients were included in this study, which were divided into two groups, the patients with dissection of axillary lymph nodes by liposuction(
n=34) were in observation group, and the patients with traditional axillary lymph node dissection(
n=52) were in control group. The draining volume in the postoperative 3 days, draining time and the incidence of subcutaneous fluid were compared between the two groups.
Results:The postoperative drainage volume and drainage time in the second day and the third day in observation group were less than in control group(
P<0.01).The incidence of subcutaneous fluid in observation group was lower than that in control group(
P<0.05).
Conclusions:The axillary lymph nodes dissection by liposuction can reduce the incidence of postoperative lymphatic leakage, it can be applied widely in axillary lymph nodes dissection in breast cancer.
