Abstract:
Objective:To investigate the career cognition of medical student under the influence of the doctor-patient relationship, and its influence factors.
Methods:One thousand students from freshman to grade five of clinical medicine of Bengbu medical college were investigated using self-made questionnaire.
Results:Under the influence of the doctor-patient relationship, the level of the career cognition of clinical medicine student was low, the confidence level of employment in male student was significantly higher than in female student(
P<0.01).The levels of communication ability, employment confidence, career moral and professional confidence in junior medical students were higher than those in the senior medical students(
P<0.01).The employment confidence level in single child medical student was higher than that in non-single child medical students(
P<0.05).The levels of the professional knowledge, communication ability, employment confidence and professional quality in class leader were higher than those in non-class leader(
P<0.05 to
P<0.01).
Conclusions:The adverse doctor-patient relationship has negative effects on the professional cognition of medical student through a variety of ways, which can be settled by the joint of efforts of government, hospital, school, society and medical students.
