Abstract:
Objective: To detect the expression of heat shock protein 90(HSP90) in septic mice,and investigate the effects of Xuebijing on sepsis.
Methods: Eighty-four mice were randomly divided into the sepsis model group(model group) and Xuebijing inhibition group(inhibition group).The serum levels of ALT,AST and HSP90,and HSP90 expressions and pathological changes in lung and liver tissues were detected after 0 h,1 h,2 h,4 h,8 h,12 h and 18 h of molding.
Results: The serum levels of AST in inhibition group were higher than that in model group after 2 h,4 h and 8 h of administration(
P < 0.05 to
P < 0.01),but the serum levels of ALT in inhibition group were higher than that in model group after 1 h,4 h and 8 h of administration(
P < 0.05 to
P < 0.01).The HSP90 levels in serum,and liver and lung tissues in model group were significantly higher than that in inhibition group after 2 h to 18 h of administration(
P < 0.01).Histopathology showed that the inflammation of lung and liver tissues gradually aggravated,the alveolar wall destructed,the alveolar septum widened,the interstitium proliferated,part of liver cells ballooning degenerated,spotty Leaflet necrosed,and hepatic portal bridging necrosis occurred in model group.The inflammation reaction in inhibition group significantly decreased.
Conclusions: The expression of HSP90 in sepsis mice upregulates,which indicates that the HSP90 involves in the immune response and regulation.The Xuebijing can decrease the levels of HSP90 in liver and lung tissues,alleviate the inflammation reaction and pathological lesion of liver and lung tissues in sepsis mice.
