Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the effects of Doula pain-abating machine on the analgesia in vaginal delivery.
Methods: Two hundred and forty full term pregnant women scheduled by vaginal delivery were randomly divided into the Doula pain-abating machine group and control group(120 cases each group). The Doula pain-abating machine group and control group were treated with GT-4A machine and conventional doula care during vaginal delivery, respectively. The pain-abating effects, labor time of the first stage, second stage and third stage, rates of vaginal delivery and cesarean section and bleeding after 2 hours of birth between two groups were compared.
Results: The analgesia effects in Doula pain-abating machine group were significantly better than that in control group(
P<0.01).The labor time of the first stage and second stage in Doula pain-abating machine group were significantly shorter than those in control group(
P<0.01).The rate of cesarean section in Doula pain-abating machine group(7,5%) were less than that in control group(16.7%)(
P<0.01).The differences of the bleeding amount after 2 hours of birth and labor time of the third stage between two groups were not statistically significant(
P>0.05).
Conclusions: The application of Doula pain-abating machine in labor analgesia can play good analgesia effects, relieve the pain of patients, accelerate the delivery process and decrease the rate of cesarean section, which is worthy of promotion in clinic.
