Correlation between serum vitamin D level and cough variant asthma in children

摘要

摘要: 目的：观察咳嗽变异性哮喘儿童血清25-（OH） D₃浓度，分析其与咳嗽变异性哮喘有关的血清总免疫球蛋白含量（总IgE）的相关性。方法：检测40例咳嗽变异性哮喘组、42名正常对照组儿童血清25-（OH） D₃浓度及总IgE含量，进行组间对比分析。结果：咳嗽变异性哮喘组儿童血清25-（OH） D₃浓度明显低于对照组（P<0.01）；而总IgE含量明显高于对照组（P<0.01）。咳嗽变异性哮喘组儿童血清25-（OH） D₃与总IgE呈显著负相关（r=-0.937，P<0.01）。结论：维生素D缺乏是导致儿童咳嗽变异性哮喘发作的重要原因之一，可能与25-（OH） D₃对总IgE抑制作用有关。

Abstract: Objective:To observe the serum level of 25 hydroxy vitamin D325-(OH)D₃ in children with cough variant asthma(CVA),and analyze its relationship with serum level of total immunoglobulin E(T IgE) associated with CVA.Methods:The serum levels of 25-(OH)D₃ and T IgE in 40 cases with cough variant asthma(cough variant asthma group) and 42 healthy children(normal control group) were detected,and which was compared between two groups.Results:The serum levels of 25-(OH)D₃ and T IgE in CVA group were significantly lower and higher those in normal control group,respectively(P<0.01).The serum level of 25-(OH)D₃ in CVA group was negatively correlated with level of T IgE(r=-0.937,P<0.01).Conclusions:Vitamin D deficiency is an important cause of CVA exacerbations in children,which may be related to the inhibitory effect of 25-(OH)D₃ on the T IgE.
