Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the cognitive status of nurses on stress-related disorder and management status of stress-related disorder in burn department.
MethodsThe cognitive status of stress-related disorders of 129 nurses in burn departments from 8 grade A tertiary hospitals were investigated using a general data questionnaire and self-made questionnaire.
ResultsThe scores of subjective cognition and objective cognition of stress-related disorder were (12.38±3.79) and (4.42±1.47), respectively, and the average score rates of those were 49.52% and 55.23%, respectively.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that training and educational background were the factor influencing the subjective and objective cognition of nurses on stress-related disorder in burn department, respectively(P < 0.01 and P < 0.05).The 83.70% and 73.64% of nurses in burn department said that there was no assessment tool and nursing routine for stress-related disorder, respectively.
ConclusionsThe nurses on stress-related disorder are of low awareness, poor behavior and good attitude.The management and training of stress-related disorder in burn department are lack.The managers should pay attention to the management and training of stress-related disorder to improve the quality of nursing and promote patients' physical and mental recovery.
