Abstract:
ObjectiveTo design the new drainage and seepage collecting device, and observe its application effects in wound exudation of patients treated with gynecological surgery.
MethodsThirty patients with wound or drainage orifice exudation after gynecological surgery were investigated, and the drainage effects of new drainage and seepage collecting device were observed.
ResultsThe healing time and extubation time, and number of dressing change in 30 patients treated with drainage and seepage collecting device shortened by 2 to 3 d and 1 to 2 d, and reduced to 0 to 1 time, respectively. Among the patients, the mobility was convenient, the comfort increased, and the rehabilitation was accelerated.
ConclusionsThe use of a drainage and seepage collecting device can shorten the wound healing time, prevent skin inflammation, reduce hospital infection, save medical cost, and improve the comfort and satisfaction with medical treatment and nursing of patients.
