Abstract: Objective: To study the effect of comfortable nursing on cancer patients treated with chemotherapy.Methods: One hundred cancer patients treated with chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups:Fifty-two in the observation group and forty-eight in the control group.The observation group recived comfortable nursing based on comfortable nursing model,while the control group rexceived only traditional nursing.The satisfaction in the two groups was surveyed by self-command questionnaire.Results: The satisfaction in the observation group was 96.2%,which was higher than that in the control group(81.3%) (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reaction in the observation group was distinctly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05 to P<0.005).Conclusions: Comfortable nursing for cancer patients receiving chemotherapy may make the patients feel satisfactory and safe in physiology and psychology,and their life quality is greatly improved.
