Effect of early initiation of language memory trace management on aphasia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage

    • ObjectiveTo explore the effects of early initiation of language memory trace management on aphasia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.
MethodsEighty-two patients with aphasia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were divided into the observation group and control group according to the postoperative management methods (41 cases in each group). The control group was intervened with traditional language rehabilitation training, and the observation group was intervened with early initiation of language memory trace management. Before and after 15 and 30 days of intervention, the language function, language communication ability, aphasia and clinical effects in two groups were evaluated using the aphasia battery of Chinese, Chinese functional communication (CFCP), aphasia quotient (AQ) index and examination of Chinese language aphasia in Peking University, respectively.
ResultsThe differences of the ability scores of expression, understanding, reading and writing before intervention were not statistically significant between two groups (P>0.05), and the scores of all items in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group after 15 and 30 days of intervention (P < 0.01).There was no statistical significance in CFCP score and AQ index between two groups before intervention (P>0.05).With the prolongation of intervention time, the CFCP score and AQ index in two groups significantly increased (P < 0.01), and the CFCP score and AQ index in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group after 15 and 30 days of intervention (P < 0.01).The total effective rate of treatment in observation group (97.56%) was significantly higher than that in control group (58.54%) (P < 0.01).
ConclusionsThe early initiation language memory trace can make the patients with aphasia after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage get the standard and effective rehabilitation management, and promote the recovery of language function.
