    Optimization of water extraction process for preparing Shiwei Guiqi Zhenwu granules by orthogonal design

    • Objective:To establish an optimal extraction process for Shiwei Guiqi Zhenwu granules.Methods:The yield of dry extract and the extraction rates of astragaloside A and paeoniflorin were used as the indices;the orthogonal design was used to investigate the influence of the solvent volume extraction time and extraction frequency on the extraction results.Results:The best extraction process was adding 6 times of water and decocting three tiwes, 1 hour each time.Conclusions:The optimal extraction process is feasible and reliable.
