Experience of rectal cancer resection under laparoscope with specimen out of the anus in 14 cases

Objective: To summary the experience of rectal cancer resection under laparoscope with specimen out of the anus.Methods: The clinical data of rectal cancer resection under laparoscope with specimen out of the anus in 14 cases were analyzed.Results: All operations were successfully completed,no serious complications were found.All patients discharged at postoperative 5 to 8 days.No local recurrence or distant metastasis was found during the following up for 3 to 24 months.Conclusions: The rectal cancer resection under laparoscope with specimen out of the anus is small trauma and quack healing,which can achieve the goal of tumor treatment.
