Abstract
Objective: To explore the application value of emergency care process in salvaging the patients with severe multiple trauma. Methods: Forty-five severe multiple trauma patients treated with conventional first aid methods from January 2012 to January 2013 and 58 cases treated with emergency care process from February 2013 to April 2014 were divided into the control group and observation group, respectively. The time of saving and blood using and rescue success rate between two groups were compared. Results: The saving time in observation group(56.77±2.33 min) was significantly shorter than that in control group(113.89±3.12 min)(P<0.01).The blood using time in control group(85.3±5.5 min) was significantly longer than that in observation group(42.2±3.1) min(P<0.01).The rescue success rate in observation group 96.6% and in control group 86.7% has no statistic difference(P>0.05).Conclusions: The emergency care process in salvaging the patients is effective, which has great clinical significance in saving life.
