Clinical application and nursing of airbags midwifery in the stage of labor

Objective: To explore the application effects of airbag midwifery in the stage of labor and its nursing method.Methods: One hundred and sixty-eight natural childbirth uniparas were randomly divided into the observation group and control group according to admission order(84 cases each group).The observation group were treated with airbag midwifery auxiliary childbirth,the control group were treated with conventional natural childbirth way.The labor,birth outcome and neonatal outcome between two groups were compared.Results: The first,second and total labor in observation group were significantly shorter than those in control group(P<0.01),the differences of the delivery mode and soft birth canal laceration between two groups were statistically significant(P<0.01 and P<0.05),the difference of the neonatal asphyxia rate between two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions: Airbag midwifery can shorten the labor,reduce childbirth pain of puerpera,improve natural births,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
