    Application of the ultrasound elastography combined with color doppler flow imaging in the diagnosis of breast cancer

    • Objective:To evaluate the effects of ultrasound elastography combined with color doppler flow imaging in the diagnosis of breast cancer.Methods:The breast cancer(138 breast nodules) in 98 patients were detected by ultrasound elastography, color doppler flow imaging and ultrasound elastography combined with color doppler flow imaging.The diagnostic results of three methods were compared according to the pathology imaging.Results:The pathology results showed that 96 nodules in 64 patients were benign, 42 nodules in 42 patients were malignant.The differences of benign and malignant breast nodules of patients between pathology results and CDFI, UE and CDFI+UE test results were not significant(P>0.05).The diagnostic sensitivities of ultrasound elastography, color doppler flow imaging and ultrasound elastography combined with color doppler flow imaging were 83.33%, 88.10% and 97.62%, respectively.The specificities and diagnostic accuracy of ultrasound elastography, color doppler flow imaging and ultrasound elastography combined with color doppler flow imaging were 92.71% & 91.30%, 93.83% & 92.03% and 96.88% & 97.10%.Conclusions:The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ultrasound elastography combined with color doppler flow imaging in the diagnosis of breast cancer are high, which is worthy of clinical application.
