Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of different nursing modes on the health knowledge and indwelling time and quality of life in patients with hemodialysis catheter.Methods:Eighty-two hemodialysis patients were randomly divided into the control group(n=41)and observation group(n=41).The control group were nursed with routine care, and the observation group were treated with diversified health education based on routine care. The health knowledge awareness, indwelling time, hospital stay, satisfaction and quality of life between two groups were compared and analyzed. Results:The awareness rates of diet, self-testing disease, complication management, medication and exercise in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.01).The indwelling time, average length of stay and satisfaction scores in observation group were better than those in control group(P<0.01).After treatment, the physiological function, bodily pain, general health, physical function, social function, emotional role, mental health, energy and SF-36 total score in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.01).Conclusions:The diversified health care modes can improve the education on disease knowledge, shorten the catheter and hospital time, and improve the quality of life and satisfaction of hemodialysis catheter patients.
