Abstract
Objective:To observe the changes of serum endothelin-1(ET-1) and brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels in heart failure patients and explore the correlations. Methods:One hundred and twenty cases with heart failure were selected as observation group and 80 healthy persons as control group.Serum ET-1 and BNP levels were compared between the two groups.ET-1 and BNP levels in different New York heart association(NYHA) gradation patients were also recorded and their correlation with the degree of heart failure was explored. Results:Serum ET-1 and BNP levels in observation group were much higher than those in control group(PPPPConclusions:Serum ET-1 and BNP levels were greatly increased in heart failure patients, and closely related to disease severity. They can be the predictive indexes for evaluating disease condition and prognosis.
