The effect of different dosages of ligustrazine on the ischemic skin flap of rabbit back

    • Objective:To investigate the suitable dosages of ligustrazine with good protective effect on ischemic skin flap. Methods:The Japanese big ear white rabbits were randomly divided into four groups. The 8 cm×2 cm random flap in the rabbit back was designed, cut and stripped, and the rabbits were stitched in situ.Group B,C and D were treated with 15,30 and 60 mg/kg of ligustrazine after operation, respectively, and the group A were treatment with 4 ml/kg of 0.9% sodium chloride injection.Rabbits were sacrificed after 7 days of operation, the flap survival area was measured, the relationship between different concentrations ligustrazine and flap survival was analyzed. Results:The distal necrosis and proximal survival of flap was found after days 7 operation. With the increasing of drug dosages, the flap survival area and average survival rate increased. The flap survival area and average survival in group C and D were higher than those in group A and B(P<0.05 to P<0.01),the differences of which between group A and B,and between group C and D were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:Appropriate dose of ligustrazine can improve the survival rate of ischemic skin flap.
