    Present situation and influence factors of the of career decision-making difficulty in medical students

    • Objective:To understand the level and characteristics of the difficulties of decision-making career in medical college,and provide a theoretical basis for the better career planning of medical students.Methods:Eight hundred and forty-six students from three medical colleges were investigated using the career decision-making difficulties questionnaire and self-compiled influence factor questionnaire based on open investigation.Results:The difficulty of career decision-making of medical college students is the mild level,which included the emotional discomfort,lack of sufficient access to obtain information and social environment information.The differences of the difficulty score of medical college students in career decision-making in different genders,one-child,different grades and school performance were statistically significant(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Career education,professional satisfaction,professional interest matches and career grasp affected on career decision-making(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Conclusions:The difficulty of career decision-making in medical students is in mild difficulty level,which is affected by different genders,one-child,different grades,school performance,professional satisfaction,professional interest and career grasp.
