    Effect of motivational interviewing on the compliance of limb function exercise in hemiplegia patients after neurosurgery surgery

    • Objective:To explore the effects of motivational interviewing on the compliance of limb function exercise in hemiplegia patients after neurosurgery surgery for providing the reference in the rehabilitation nursing.Methods:One hundred hemiplegia patients were randomly divided into the intervention group and control group by a randomized controlled study(50 cases each group).The intervention group and control group were treated with motivational interviewing and routine health education,respectively.The compliance of limb function exercise,activity function and daily living situation in two groups were evaluated before and after intervention.Results:The differences of the compliance of limb function exercise,activity function and daily living situation between two groups before intervention were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the compliance of limb function exercise,activity function and daily living situation in intervention group improved significantly after intervention(P<0.05 to P<0.01).Conclusions:The motivational interviewing intervention can improve the compliance of the limb function exercise in patients with hemiplegia.
