Analysis of suspected pulmonary tuberculosis registration reports in Hospital of Xingtai County

Objective: To investigate the suspected pulmonary tuberculosis registration reports in Xingtai county of Hebei province so as to provide guidance for the control and prevention of tuberculosis.Methods: The data of suspected pulmonary tuberculosis collected during 2009~2013 were retrospectively analyzed.Results: Two hundred and five cases of suspected pulmonary tuberculosis were registered;the majority of the patients were local residents,most of whom were farmers,males and young people.One hundred and seventy-three cases visited the tuberculosis prevention and control institution,with an attendance rate of 84.39%.One hundred and fifty-three of the cases were diagnosed as pulmonary tuberculosis(88.44%) and 20 cases were excluded(11.56%).The attendance rate and detection rate did not tend to decrease year by year(P>0.05).Conclusions: The Hospital of Xingtai County has made certain contribution to the detection of pulmonary tuberculosis of the county.Meanwhile,improving the level of diagnosis and treatment of suspected pulmonary tuberculosis is still a long-term work in the future.
