The change of serum lipids level in type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with chronic complication and its significance

    • Objective:To explore the relationships between the blood lipids, apolipoprotein and type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with chronic complication, and its significance.Methods:Sixty-five type 2 diabetic patients and 57 healthy people were divided into the case group and control group, respectively. The levels of serum lipids and apolipoproteins in morning fasting venous blood of two groups after 12 h of fasting were measured by automatic biochemical analyzer, and analyzed statistically. Results:The serum levels of triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein B and ratio of apolipoprotein B/apolipoprotein A1 in case group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.01),while the serum levels of high density lipoprotein and apolipoprotein A1 in case group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.01).Conclusions:The blood lipid level in type 2 diabetes mellitus is obviously abnormal, and the early intervention treatment of blood lipid has very important significance.
