    Clinical application of the Fable and Oriental Story in the treatment of neurosis patients

    • Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of Fable and Oriental Story combined with normal medication in the treatment of neurosis patients.Methods:Sixty neurosis patients were randomly divided into the observation group and control group(30 cases each group).The control group were treated with normal medication,and the observation group were additionally treated with Fable and Oriental Story based on normal medication therapy for 10 weeks.Each factor score of the test results assessed by Symptom Check List 90(SCL-90) before and after the treatment between two groups were compared.Results:After 10 weeks of therapy,the differences of the phobic anxiety and psychoticism scores between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),the decreasing degree of the rest factors scores of SCL-90 in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05 to P<0.01).The daily use dosage of anti-anxiety and anti-depressant medication in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.01).The overall incidence of adverse reactions in observation group(10.00%) was significantly lower than that in control group(46.67%)(P<0.01).Conclusions:The effects of Fable and Oriental Story combined with normal medication in the treatment of neurosis patients is better.
