Application of the vacuum sealing drainage combined with upper gluteus maximus myocutaneous flap in the repair of pressure ulcer with Ⅳ phase in sacral tail

Objective:To investigate the effects of the vacuum sealing drainage(VSD) combined with upper gluteus maximus myocutaneous flap in the repair of the pressure ulcer with Ⅳ phase.Methods:The pressure ulcer with Ⅳ phase in sacral tail of 13 cases were treated with the primary phase debridement VSD technology combined with second upper gluteus maximus myocutaneous flap.The minimum and maximum wound were 5.5 cm×7 cm and 11 cm×15 cm,respectively.Results:All 13 myocutaneous flaps survived,part far edge of myocutaneous flaps necrosis in 2 cases were cured.All patients were followed up for 6 months to 3 years,the recurrence in 1 case caused by family condition and unrecurrence in 12 cases were found.Conclusions:The effect of the VSD combined with upper gluteus maximus myocutaneous flap in the repair of pressure ulcer with Ⅳ phase is good.
