The effect of Xuefuzhuyu capsule on the expression of related-hormone of intrauterine adhesion and its clinical efficacy

    • Objective: To investigate the effects of Xuefuzhuyu capsule(XFZYC) on the expression of related-hormone of intrauterine adhesion and its clinical efficacy. Methods: The patients with amenorrhea or scanty menstruation from "The First Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of Beijing" from Jan 2013 to Nov 2014 were diagnosed by hysteroscopy, and their intrauterine adhesion was separated. Two hundred and twenty women placed with the contraceptive ring were randomly divided into the control group and observation group(110 cases each group). The control group and observation group were treated with 2 mg of estradiol valerate and XFZYC by oral, once a day, respectively. One hundred healthy women were set as the healthy group. The postoperative volume of menstrual flow and intrauterine condition under hysteroscopy in all groups were observed. The levels of luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle stimulating hormone, estradiol, progesterone, prolactin and testosterone, and the expressions of estrogen receptor(ER) and progesterone receptor(PR) were detected. Results: Among two groups, the drug use stopped within three months, and taking ring was successful. The total effective rates in the control group and observation were 74.55% and 98.18%,respectively,the difference of which was not statistically signifcant(P>0.05).The differences of the 6 stems hormone levels between two groups after treatment were not statistically signifcant(P>0.05).The expression of endometrium ER in two groups was higher than that in healthy women(P<0.05).Conclusions: The abnormal expression of endometrium ER and PR may be involved in the formation of intrauterine adhesion. The effect of XFZYC in the treatment of intrauterine adhesion is significant.
